Job Description :
- Elicits requirements from the customer and converts them into user stories and product requirements.
- Works as a part of the project team and acts as a bridge between the customer and technology team by elaborating on the client’s requirements.
- Liaises between the client and internal stakeholders to validate, analyze and document the requirements through user stories.
- Participates and leads discovery activities with the customer to lay down the requirements.
- Participates in functional design and solutions.
- Works closely with the QA team to create test scenarios and review the test cases.
- Has a deep understanding of the Agile methodology.
- Participates in the sprint grooming sessions and sprint reviews both internally and with the customer
- Open to travel to customer sites for requirements gathering and implementation activities like UAT.
- Provides support for application development teams, including documenting business processes.
- Works with business and technical stakeholders to elicit and analyze requirements in support of complex projects, including but not limited to user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, technical requirements, model use cases, development of as-is and to-be business processes, impact analysis, and risk analysis – including assessing impacts and developing mitigation and contingency plans.
- Recommends improvements to adopted standards, processes, and procedures; leads the implementation of improved department business processes, policies, procedures, and tools.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 10 to 14 years of experience as a business analyst, eliciting requirements and documenting processes.
- Experience in implementing digital banking solutions is desirable. Any experience in customer onboarding would be a plus.
- Knowledge of core banking systems, Personal (Retail) Banking, account opening, and digital transactions is essential.
- Have experience in eliciting, gathering, documenting, and communicating business and functional requirements.
- Have good experience working with User Experience / Design resources to help visualize requirements into prototypes.
- Should be well versed with Agile methodology.
- Knowledge and experience in Salesforce would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills – written and spoken.
- Certifications like Certified Business Analysis Profession would be desirable but are not prerequisites.
- Must be well organized, systematic, and pay close attention to detail.
- Possess excellent written / oral communication skills.
- Able to work well in a highly collaborative cross-discipline team
- Must be able to multitask and collaborate with various people, including highly technical teams across multiple lines of business.
- Must be a self-starter and go-getter who is willing to learn.
